Ens Auto Swinging with the Stars announces local celebrities in Saskatoon’s version of “Dancing with the Stars”

Swinging with the Stars is proud to announce we have reached our milestone and will celebrating our 5th Year Anniversary in Style.

On January 28th, 2017 at TCU Place, we will celebrate SWTS’s 5th Year Anniversary by having the first ever All-Stars vs. Rookies ultimate dance off.

We have recruited 4 of the most popular SWTS Celebrities from previous years and matched them against 4 new local celebrities to see which team of celebrities will come out on top and be victorious.

The team of celebrities that have the most votes at the end of the night will be awarded with the team excellence trophy and labeled the Ultimate SWTS All-Star dance crew. Will the 4 new celebrities knock off the 4 returning celebrities? You will have to come to see.

This popular fundraiser event has raised over $300,000 for local charities and is on target to celebrate it’s biggest year yet.

The event has become the ‘talk of the town’ in its popularity explained Swinging with the Stars event coordinator, Brett Bayda

“What other event brings 8 celebrities together, pushes them out of their comfort zones and has them spend hours of their own time practicing moves that they didn’t even know their bodies were capable of doing? This event is going to have so much energy that we are going to blow the roof off TCU place on January 28th” said Brett Bayda.

The celebrities are now “in training” for at least twenty hours of preparation from local Saskatoon professional dance instructors. The dancers will showcase with their choreographed routine at the event and the audience in attendance will vote for their favorite dance pair that night.
Following the same premise as the TV show, there will be three judges on hand to present their comments on the performance. Two trophies will be presented – Audience Choice and Team Excellence.

“Not many events bring the whole community together as this one does and we are most grateful for the support from Saskatoon and the people volunteering for the cause.

Tickets are on sale at The early bird are $150 and VIP $200.

The proceeds raised will go to the Saskatoon City Hospital Rehabilitation Centre. We truly believe that every woman, man and child deserves the chance to dance!
